beginning knitting or beginning crochet—–every saturday!

from the completely inexperienced to experts of old needing a refresher course to beginners needing help on their first projects, this class is a rolling introduction to the basics. sign up for as many sessions as you want or need. a scarf, hat, or felted bag make great beginner projects!

a staple of any mamaw’s crochet repertoire, but when not made out of brown and orange acrylic, granny squares are surprising stylish. not only will this up any beginner crocheter’s game, but granny squares are great stash busters!

if you’ve dreamed about making a shawl—not one of those garter stitch prayer shawls, but a real honest-to-goodness lace shawl like the kind you imagine women in eastern european villages wear—then this is your class.

do you suffer from sss (second sock syndrome)? we have the cure: knit both socks at the same time. while you can't use double pointed needles for this technique, this is a great reason to learn how to knit in the round with the magic loop!

amigurumi is japanese for cute crocheted toys. seriously, you can’t get much cuter. simple crochet skills are required, but if you know how to chain and single crochet, you can do it!
