cuff:

leaving a long tail to finish with, ch  9, turn.
 
row 1:  crocheting in back loops only, *sc in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch across [8 sts].  ch 1, turn*.

rows 2 – 35:  repeat from * to *.  36 rows total.

join with sl st to first chain, forming a circular cuff.

attach grey yarn.

arm:


rnd 1:  in grey, ch 1.  hdc in ends of rows 2 – 35 [36 hdcs].  join with sl st to top of first chain.

rnds 2 – 4:  *ch 1, hdc in ea st around.  join with sl st to first chain.* repeat from * to *.

rnds 5 - 8:  in black, *ch 1. hdc in ea st around.  join with sl st to first chain.* repeat from * to *.
rnds 9 – 12:  in grey, ch 1. hdc in ea st around.  join with sl st to first chain.* repeat from * to *.
rnds 13 - 16:  in black, *ch 1.  hdc in ea st around.  join with sl st to first chain.* repeat from * to *.
rnds 17 – 20:  in grey, ch 1. hdc in ea st around.  join with sl st to first chain.* repeat from * to *.
